Ok, so I sent in a support ticket a few weeks ago, letting them know that I'm having trouble posting. Basically, I am logged in, but when I go to post, it acts like I'm not. They say that they are aware of the problem, and are 'working' on it, but that I should probably turn off my 'auto' login feature on my browser. So basically, I have to shut off my favorite feature for ALL of my sites because they can't figure out how to fix theirs?

Um... no!

And it's still giving me hell. I'm a bit upset by this and am kind of glad I haven't paid for the permanent account. If they can't fix this... Can they fix something big when it happens? *sigh*

So going to short my credit card payment this month so I can purchase a permanent account here. I'd kind of like posting my fic to a journal again. And with LJ freaking out... well this place seems MUCH MORE friendly. Almost like fandom is wanted here! So... With most of my flist migrating here... May as well pay up! *g*

You know, I just finished Deathly Hallows last night before the power went out. It was VERY strange. I was just about to get to the last fifty pages or so and the electricity goes off! Didn't stop me from finishing though. I can read by candlelight!!!!!

I was majorly bummed though. There's no one I talk to on a regular basis who is/has read the book. I wanted to squeal, holler, carry on about it, and with the world being petrified of spoilers...

I'm kind of glad I'm not petrified of spoilers.

Anyway...

As I was whining. I didn't have ANYONE to go on and on about it with... and tonight LJ if frelling down!!!!!!!!!! If I could scream without looking like a total freak to the family, I would! Hehehehe! *kicks LJ*

I am going to be purchasing the permanent account here. More than likely, I'm going to try to make this my fannish journal and focus on LJ as a personal one. Now, I say that, but I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do and where. But I do know that $40.00 for a permanent account (because I'll get all the icons) is hard to resist. debc is going to help me out with the Pay Pal stuff. (Puts up a sticky note to send her a check.) I know some people are letting their LJ paid accounts expire and such, but I don't know if I'll do that. I don't know if I'll be able to customize here like I did over there. I may do a new mood theme for over here... if/when I can. Keep Charlize special for LJ.

One thing I do know... this journal will HAVE to be customized. Anyone able to help with that yet? *looks pathetic* Probably have to wait for the paid account, huh?

Anybody purchased a permanent account yet? Price seems pretty decent... $40 compared to the $150 for LJ. Just... well it would be good incentive to use this one over LJ, wouldn't it? Hmmm....

It's VERY tempting. I was just wondering if anyone had gone the paid route yet and how smoothly the transaction went.

Once I figure out how to set the flock permanently, I'll be locking down this journal like I do all my others. I am a very private person, and yet I contradict that with a very liberal friending policy. I just like to know who's reading my journal.
